When I met Liz, the thing that stood out most to me was that she was kind. As I got to know her, I discovered just how inadequate that description was. She always had an eye out for ways to contribute, or to lift up the people in her life. It can be tricky finding just the right balance in how much to give. Liz was exceptional at it. She didn’t care about the trappings of materialism, or being super fancy. It was always about the people for her. That’s what I loved most about Liz, and that is how I will always remember her.
